It's okay to disagree. Have healthy conversations with friends, family members, and colleagues, about the LGBTQIA+ community. Be open to hearing their thoughts & opinions.

Words matter.
When someone says something offensive about the community, speak up. It is important to let them know they are wrong.
You may have preconceived notions and not be aware of them. The best way to recognise and address them is to pay attention to the language you use and the comments and statements you respond to.
Allyship is work. It means showing support consistently by defending, advocating, and lending a voice to the community.
